Happy summer friends! This has probably been the wackiest week for weather. First it was hot, then there were lightning storms, a little rain came, and now we’re back at sunny.  I’d tell you to prepare for a beautiful weekend, but it’s anyone’s guess!

At any rate, here’s what is going on over at SantaRosaMom.com this week:

Free summer lunches
This week kicked off the Summer Lunch Program, an event that occurs M-F at various schools and venues across Sonoma County to ensure kids get a decent meal while school is on break. Today and tomorrow there is a celebration party to introduce the program to the community.

iPhone App for busy moms
Frustrated with their inability to keep up with their kids AND record every milestone in their baby books, two Santa Rosa moms tackled the problem by developing an app that does it all for them, plus allows them to share the memories with close friends and families. Plus, it’s free!

Mom seeking Santa Rosa insight
A family is moving from Northern Virginia to Santa Rosa, and would love to hear your two cents on what she should know before she moves. Pop on over to the forums and share your advice!

Security Reminder
Online hackers are preying after your passwords, personal information, and anything else that gets them into your privacy and strips you of your identity. Don’t become their next victim! Here are a few tips to keep you safe. I urge you to share your own tips, as well, in the forum discussion.
