Everyone gearing up for getting the kids back to school?  So are we!  Here’s all that’s going on over at SantaRosaMom.com this week.

Back to school costs
Just got done signing over the deeds to my house for back-to-school shopping. Ok, maybe it just felt like it… Between clothes, supplies, field trips, photos, and more, taking out a loan to get the kids back to school isn’t so far-fetched. Anyone else relate?

School shopping ideas
Still need to shop and looking for the best bargains? The moms on our forum banded together and listed their favorite places to save for back-to-school shopping. Hint: The favorite choice among the moms is my personal favorite too!

Back to school blues…and elation
Parents give their opinion on what they like most and least about summer ending and the kids going back to school.  Do you feel the same as any of these parents?

Other kids’ behavior
A mother is disturbed about the behavior of kids these days, and has a message for parents. But her answer might not be the same as yours. How would you handle bad behavior from other people’s children?

Taking social time offline
We just ended our series of summertime Mom Walks, and it was fantastic getting to know other moms! I’d love to receive ideas on new events we can hold to give everyone a chance to meet other local parents. Any ideas? Follow the link above and leave a suggestion in the comments.
