On Wednesday, March 5th, 2014, Dr. Neufeld will be presenting his talk, “How to Keep Children Safe in a Wounding World” for the first time in the US. This is a very important talk for all modern parents and teachers and those who work with children. Our children are being exposed in sometimes overwhelming ways to emotionally wounding dynamics and this talk will address ways in which we can help them navigate these dynamics and be emotionally and psychologically safe. This talk will be held at Summerfield Waldorf School in Santa Rosa.

On Thursday, March 6th, 2014, Dr. Neufeld will be presenting his amazing talk, “Heart Matters: What To Do With A Child’s Feelings”. There is much focus today on children’s emotions. Constructs like emotional intelligence, emotional self-regulation, emotional well-being and social emotional learning are being bandied about like never before. What are the implications for raising children? How can we ensure healthy hearts and emotions? How do we teach our children the language of the heart? Should we discourage “negative” emotions and should we be encouraging our children to “calm down”? What role does the mind play in matters of the heart? Dr. Neufeld will cover these topics and more. This talk will be held at the beautiful Unity in Marin Campus in Novato:
