Every Thursday, HobbyTown USA in Petaluma demos new toys meant for kids ages 1 to 10. All toys demo’d will be 10% off that day. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free.

March 15-17
Sonoma County Home & Garden Show: The Sonoma County Fairgrounds is hosting the 25th annual show, bringing in plenty of vendors, exhibitors, professionals, and more to help you in all your home and garden needs. $7 general, $4 for seniors 60+, kids 10-under free on Friday. Saturday, March 16
Family Hike at Spring Lake Regional Park
Rain cancels, trails not suitable for strollers. 1-3 p.m. Free, but parking is $7 or free for Parks Member.

MagiKids – DIY Illusions
Magician Ray Hoey shares tips and secrets with kids ages 7-12. 12-2 p.m. $30 per class.

March 16-24
Disney’s Aladdin Jr.
Talented students will bring this show to life on March 16, 17, 23 and 24 at 2pm and March 22 at 7pm at the Raven Theater. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for children under 10. Advance tickets can be purchased by calling the school at 433-2758.

Sunday, March 17
St. Patrick’s Day Run/Walk: The 5K race is open to all ages and abilities, with a commemorative mug waiting for participants at the finish line.  Live music from local band Soup Sandwich, costume contest, and more.  Advance registration closes March 14th.  $25 adults, $15 youth 18-under.  Price goes up for same-day registration.  Family rates available.  Free to spectate and cheer.  3 p.m.  Juillard Park.  227 Santa Rosa Ave., Santa Rosa.  ci.santa-rosa.ca.us

Sunday, March 17
Tutu-a-Gogo’s St Patty’s Day Party
Everything green – from green tutus to green manicures. Once gussied up, the party will move to a parade around the Town Green with refreshments. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for ages 4-6, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. for ages 7+. $30.

March 18-22
Youth All-Sports Spring Break Camp
Sports, crafts, and more. Register for a full or partial week, even a single day of camp. 3 age groups offered: 3-5, 4-6 and 7-10 years old. 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. $25 per day/$40 per full day (or $35 per full day when registered for full week).
