Here is what’s going on at SantaRosaMom.com this week:

Win tickets to the fair!
The Sonoma County Fair is full of fantastic photo ops – from the portly pigs in the livestock areas to the lights of the carnival rides at night.  If you’re like most people, you’re toting a camera around to capture memories on film just as enthusiastically as you are about forgetting the calories in a delicious plate of greasy fair food.  So why not reap the rewards for something you’re already doing?  Enter your photo in the 2012 Sonoma County Fair Photo Contest and you could win a family pack of admission tickets, plus your choice of one of the huge fair acts – including iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove, Destruction Derby, Martina McBride, and more.  But hurry, deadline to enter is Sunday, August 5th!  pressdemocrat.com/fair

Mom Walk
We’re down to the wire for Santa Rosa Mom Walks.  August 3rd and August 10th are the last Fridays I will be holding morning walks around Spring Lake before I pack things in and prepare for the school year.  But if you haven’t been able to join in, one of our Mom Walk faithfuls is planning on continuing the tradition for a little longer.  Stay tuned for a new announcement coming soon.  But in the meantime, won’t you join us this Friday for a walk around the lake?

Dreading the end of summer?
Or are you celebrating?  Let me know.  😉
