This weekend is the much-anticipated Just Between Friends spring sale. Held every year in the fall and spring, JBF franchise owners Matt & Jennifer Hundley host the must-attend weekend event for parents and grandparents of young children.

This weekend’s event will be held Friday, April 13, 10am-7pm; Saturday, April 14, 10am-3pm; and Sunday, April 15, 9am-2pm. This year’s sale is so big, the JBF event will be held in the 40,500 SF Grace Pavilion at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds (1350 Bennett Valley Rd, Santa Rosa).

If you have kids, grandkids, are expecting a baby, or have a child in your life in any other way, you’re not going to want to miss this weekend’s sale. Consigned items include strollers, high chairs, carseats, toys, clothing (0-12 years), books, DVDs, cribs, playpens, mommy supplies, games, and so much more. The layout is easy to navigate in your search for those vital items you need, and plenty of volunteers are on hand to help you during the event.

I love this event and what it stands for. Raising kids can be so expensive, and this is a great way to save a ton of money on those bigger ticket items or name-brand clothing. One year I even saw a Petunia Pickle Bottom diaper bag for so much less than what you’d buy in the stores – and the original tag was still attached! This year they will even have NEW Melissa and Doug items at 25% off! The sale gives a sense of community as families offer up the items they no longer need at so much less for younger families that are in the market for them. And G&G has made shopping that much easier by donating shopping carts for the weekend’s sale.

Admission to Friday’s sale is $2, benefitting the Active 20-30 Club who helps underprivileged kids in Sonoma County and Napa. Saturday and Sunday are free, with everything 50% off on Sunday. A pre-sale will be held on Thursday April 12th for volunteers, consignors, first time, adoptive & foster parents & grandparents, military families, teachers & daycare providers. And items left over will be donated to Our Kids Sake, JBF North Bay’s chosen nonprofit organization that helps the more than 1,000 homeless children in Sonoma County.
